AYUSHMAN  BHARAT  HWC

The Ayushman Bharat  Health  and Wellness Centers(AB-HWC) were launched under the Ayushman Bharat Program in a bid to move away from selective health care to a more comprehensive range of services spanning preventive,promotive ,curative ,rehebilitatives and palliative care for all ages.

        The centres deliver a range of comprehensive health care services like maternal and child health,services to address communicable diseases and services for elderly and palliative care.AB-HWC s provide free essential medicines and diagnostic services ,teleconsultation and health promotion including wellness activities like yoga.

TUMPUI HWC

Tumpui sub centre was established in 1996 and construction of building was completed  on 16.03.2016.It was located on the middle of Tumpui village with a population of 2106.

          Tumpui sub centre was upgraded to Health and Wellness Centre on September,2021.It is under Kolasib Main Centre and covers  two health clinic i.e Parkkawn clinic and Hmarveng clinic.

SERVICES AVAILABLE AND PROVIDED AT TUMPUI HWC

1.    Antenatal care (ANC) and Childbirth.

2.    Neonatal and Infant health care services.

3.    Childhood and Adolescent health care services.

4.    Family planning, Contraceptive services and other reproductive health care services.

5.    Management of Communicable diseases.

6.    General out patient care for acute simple illness and minor ailments.

7.    7.Screening,prevention,control and management of NCD and chronic communicable diseses like TB and Leprosy.

8.    Basic Oral health care.

9.    Care of common Ophthalmic, Eye and ENT problems.

10.    Elderly and Palliative health care services.

11.    Emergency medical services.

12.    Screening  and basic management of Mental health ailments.

13.    Routine Immunization.

14.    Teleconsultation.

15.    Dispensed free available medicines.

16.    Free Diagnostic test like pregnancy test ,malaria , syphillis , hemoglobin ,blood sugar, BP, height and weight measurement.

17.    Covid19 vaccination.    

18.    Observation of health promotion day by giving awareness, health talk, physical exercise and yoga.
